This is my first attempt at a me-pony since MLP FIM. I had someone help me pick pony facial expressions from the show and he said this was the most "me" - the skeptical/unamused face.
Please do not use this pony unless you ask me first, only because I feel this is 'my' pony. I would feel better if you just wanted to use parts of it and change it up.

The old "My Pony" [link]

Purple and Orange - my favorite colors
I was seriously tempted to do orange hair, but I knew I had to be less tacky. You may notice some arguably tacky features on this pony - that's just me. My hair is blond-turning-brown, so I went with "golden" colors and a light purple.
Authentic Unicorn Features - how I have defined the unicorn since childhood (no beard of course, like goats, we can leave that to the boys)
Long Golden Pigtails - I actually have, although it's not as long and golden as it used to be...
Plaid and Stripes - I wasn't brave enough to try drawing a striped shirt and a plaid kilt on a pony... maybe next time. This became a joke in college, because I often wore kilts with a variety of shirts, knee socks, or scarves. After having heard several comments from peers, like "Plaid and stripes, yeah!" - I asked my roommates why people seem to always comment on the plaid and stripe combo, as if it meant something. They were like "I thought you were doing that on purpose," and then they explained it. (Evidently, wearing plaid and stripes together is a known thing - that you're not supposed to do. It's a saying people use to reference something wrong.)

Weirdly... there's no science in this pony. I thought about putting the "I Find This Humerus" joke on the bag - but I needed a place to incorporate plaid.
So, I like science, art, animals, colorful things and I often have a problem matching. I like to drag my sock monkeys around and photograph them. I guess this pony shows some of that.

Penciled, then inked on cardstock. Photographed and then colored using Gimp.
