Description
This is a basically a Fluttershy pony (or similar pony) sporting a Day of the Dead (or Dia de Muertos) costume. Day-of-the-Dead Pony is sporting some skeleton socks, a veil over her mane and tail cover (tail veil?), a skull-painted face, and has a spiderweb design across her back and rump. (Maybe a pony can paint over their cutie mark? Or maybe this is a year-round, naturally spooky pony.)
I really liked how this pony turned out except I was actually trying to make the 'veils' look like lace. I tried several ideas, but was afraid adding color wouldn't work, so I ended up with these 'hole' filled flowers. Colored, it doesn't really look like lace at all, but I thought the purple and grey looked nice anyway.
------------
Hand drawn with pen on yellow cardstock, scanned and colored digitally with Gimp.
